Welcome to Magnus Ristorante

Viale Primavera, 46/A, 30027 San Donà di Piave VE, Italy

General Info

Tucked along Viale Primavera in San Donà di Piave, Magnus Ristorante feels like the kind of place you discover once and keep returning to. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the type of dining spot where the focus is clearly on good food, comfortable service, and a menu that highlights classic flavors done well.

From the moment you sit down and glance through the menu, the restaurant’s direction becomes clear: traditional dishes prepared with care and balanced flavors. A great way to start is with the Antipasto Della Casa. It arrives as a generous introduction to the kitchen’s style, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The pacing of the courses feels natural, giving diners time to enjoy each plate rather than rushing through the experience.

Seafood lovers will probably gravitate toward the Spaghetti All'astice, which stands out as one of the restaurant’s most memorable plates. The pasta and lobster combination creates a satisfying dish that feels both hearty and refined. Another favorite from the seafood selection is Risotto Di Pesce, a comforting option that reflects the coastal culinary traditions of the region. Each spoonful delivers a balanced mix of rice and seafood flavors, making it a reliable choice for anyone exploring the menu.

For something crisp and satisfying, the Frittura Mista is worth ordering. Lightly fried seafood offers a pleasant contrast in texture compared with the pasta and risotto dishes. It’s the type of plate that works equally well as a shared appetizer or a main dish for those who enjoy variety.

Of course, no visit feels complete without something sweet, and the Dolce selection brings a smooth finish to the meal. The dessert course fits nicely into the overall flow of the dining experience, rounding out the flavors without feeling overly heavy.

The services here make the visit even more convenient. Guests can enjoy a good selection of wine and alcohol, which pair naturally with the seafood-focused menu. There are also healthy options available, allowing diners to choose lighter meals if they prefer. Practical details like Wi-Fi, credit card payments, and attentive service add to the comfortable experience.

Overall, Magnus Ristorante offers a straightforward but satisfying restaurant experience. Between its thoughtfully prepared menu, convenient location in San Donà di Piave, and consistently pleasant dining atmosphere, it’s easy to see why reviews often highlight it as a reliable place to enjoy classic Italian seafood dishes. The combination of good food, relaxed service, and well-chosen menu items creates a setting where guests can simply sit back and enjoy their time at the table.

“ The seafood appetizer: scallops, scallops, and schie (scallop shells) with polenta was delicious. The seafood entrees were plentiful and very tasty, especially the spaghetti with lobster, a must-try. The desserts were equally delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cute place with outdoor parking. Average prices. ”

“ Amazing service, fresh seafood and great atmosphere. ”

“ Very friendly staff. The atmosphere is clean, although the decor doesn't yet have a distinct personality or style. They're slow in preparing the dishes, but if the customer is in good company and has time, that's not a problem. The bread basket on the table is good, simple, with various types of bread and just one type of breadstick. We ordered the scallops and schie with polenta, which were very good. One of us ordered the stewed cuttlefish, which tasted good even though it was 80% sauce and 20% cuttlefish. The mussel soup was excellent and plentiful. The fried cod, which was one of the dishes offered off-menu by the chef, tasted good, although the outside wasn't crispy, more like a thin bread crust, but that could be a choice made by the chef. We didn't order dessert or coffee. We didn't use the bathrooms, but I noticed a small room near the entrance, smaller than the one where we ate. I really liked the decoration, and the chairs were made of fabric, not plastic (although they were stylish) like in the large room where we ate. ”

“ MAGNUS MAGNIFICENT LARGE AND LEVANTE, in a noble and concrete sense. Just returned from a rare and elevated experience. A location that was immediately spacious, refined, essential yet concrete, thoughtfully designed and never intrusive. We were greeted with extreme kindness, care, and professionalism by an excellent waitress (probably the head waiter). Kudos to the waitress and, of course, to the chef, who delighted us with skill and using raw materials of the highest quality, carefully selected with quality, creativity, and above all, abundance. An almost rare paradigm. I'm a food and wine journalist and chef, so it's hard for me to be surprised. Here, the impossible happened: an exceptional, varied, and meticulously prepared crudo. A first course (linguine upon request) with clams, exceptional and cooked perfectly al dente (a must for me). A grilled fish dish, also phenomenal. Wine, service, and a sweet treat (ice cream) that I definitely never order; here I've given in. My only regret is that I wasn't able to chat with the chef as I usually do, even though I requested it. You'll definitely see me again soon. Thanks for the evening. (Greetings to the waitress... I'm the blonde girl.) ”

“ We had a truly wonderful meal; both the tuna tartare and the gray shrimp tartare were delicious. The seafood scialatielli and the tagliolini with crab ragù were both excellent. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations! ”
